This is a really cool space. We didn't want this to feel like for these young kids that they were really coming to a doctor's office, that they were coming to a place that was here to help them, give them a new chance at lives. All right. So our next stop today on our truest day of giving around the community, we're going to come to a place that's very special to my family called JJ's Red Hots.

And the story behind this is when we were right behind here is the children's hospital where we just came from. Every time T.J. was in the hospital, having a surgery, having a procedure, and we had time to kill. My wife and I, our family members, we would walk here. It means a lot to our family, brought us great comfort in some tough times.

And to see just how much it meant to Aiden, everything him and his family have been through this past year was was pretty special. So our last stop. Last but certainly not least, we are going to Eastway Middle School and we are surprising their middle school football team.

Levine Children’s Hospital

Through T.J.’s three open-heart surgeries—and ultimately, his heart transplant—the Olsen family found comfort and life-saving care at Levine Children’s Hospital. So, naturally, Greg’s first stop on his day of care was spent celebrating the community heroes that work there.

The hospital approached Caroline well before this facility existed, and they came to us and said, there's a need here that we need to start with, support it, that we want to build out a cardiac neurodevelopment clinic.

We've recruited a world class team of specialists to come here and build out that program, and then we needed somewhere to house them. So that small little program and that small little clinic is what grew to the hardest part congenital heart center. So you get a good look in here. This this is a really cool space. We wanted it to be.

As you can tell, everything in the facility is light. It's open. Hey, what's up? What's up? Hi. How are you? Nice to see you. It's just it's crazy to hear you share your story because it was very similar to ours with our son TJ Bournemouth. Hypoplastic left heart went through all three of his surgeries. He was eight when his heart failed.

So last summer he had his transplant in June of 2021. Until you go through it, you know, it's a journey. Well, that's all right. We're happy that you guys find great peace with this space and that the health care team here and the clinic, the center has been awesome. So beautiful.

So T.J. had a heart transplant last year and he was offered a Make-A-Wish. So when we heard your story, we are happy to pay our wish forward and make sure that you can go to the Super Bowl.

Eastway Middle School

When you look like a team, you play like a team. Greg gave the football team at Eastway Middle School a pep talk for the ages, and together we donated new uniforms to help them feel their best.
