It all started with one swing. A swing that would level the playing field. And inspire change in communities across the country.

And throughout his life, he always kept swinging.

Here’s to Hank, and his courage to always push for better.

Truist is proud to partner with the Braves, to honor his legacy of fostering equity and excellence, on and off the field.

Homers for Hank

The Homers for Hank program aims to honor Mr. Aaron’s commitment to education and supporting children in chasing their dreams. Donated funds will be used to build a program of impact—providing scholarships for students attending historically black colleges and universities, career development programs for HBCU students and alumni, and future support initiatives in honor of Hank Aaron’s legacy.

$755 for every Braves homer

Truist will donate $755 to the Henry Louis Aaron Fund for every home run an Atlanta Braves player hits through the 2025 season. At home or away. Regular season or postseason. Every. Home. Run.

During the Braves' 2022 season, the team hit 248 home runs earning $187,240 in donations—a nice addition to 2021's total of $197,810. Truist will donate a minimum of $1M to the Braves Foundation’s Henry Louis Aaron Fund before 2026. And you can join us. Read more.

Representation matters

Hank Aaron worked to bring more diverse faces into the business of baseball. We’re keeping that vision alive with the Henry Aaron Fellowship.

The fellowship is a position in the Atlanta Braves’ front office—offering executive leadership experience in the day-to-day operations of a Major League Baseball Club. But more than that, it helps create and develop a more inclusive workplace.

The inaugural fellows have been selected and are looking forward to making an impact in the world of sports.
